EtomicSteel™ orders will ship within two business days for orders available and in stock.  For orders that are on backorder, the time frame may be longer and will be discussed and agreed to by the customer in writing.  EtomicSteel™ comes with a 60 year limited warranty on framing and a 40 year limited warranty on workmanship of the framing.  See http://www.EtomicSteel.com for exact limited warranty details.  

EtomicSteel™ products are shipped with insurance included in the shipping quote.  Insurance is only valid when a customer marks the shipment as damaged on the BOL (bill of laden) at the time of delivery.  Failure for the customer to mark a damaged shipment as damaged at the time of delivery will result in the inability to file a claim with the freight company.  EtomicSteel™, Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com are not responsible for freight damages if the customer does not mark the BOL (bill of laden) as damaged upon receiving the shipment from the freight carrier.
  
Weather Blocker Enclosed Sides are free for orders of retail value of $3,000 or greater (before sales taxes).  If your order does not qualify for free Weather Blocker Enclosed Sides, you may purchase them for your structure (any size carport) which includes weather blocker material, necessary bungee ball cords for installation.  Shipping to your home or business address inside the continental United States is at an additional charge, call for a shipping quote.

The Weather Blocker free offer and pricing listed above excludes orders outside of the continental United States because of shipping fees.  If you live outside the continental United States, please call for a custom quote for Weather Blocker Enclosed Sides that would include shipping to your address.
  
  

Returns, Cancellations and Refund Policy

Because all VersaTube Building System orders and Installed-Unit orders are special order, once the order has been placed, there is a no cancellation and no refund and no return policy. Only items detailed in customer's quote are included in the special order.  Upon order, full payment will be due for VersaTube Building System orders unless otherwise agreed to in writing by management and 10% down payment will be due for Installed-Unit orders unless otherwise agreed to in writing by management. We do accept checks or any major credit card. Customers will receive a billing form for shipping within 24-48 hours of order approval for VersaTube Building System orders unless it is a pick up at one of our warehouse locations. Shipping quote given and charged to the customer may vary due to weight variation or fuel surcharges after the time of order.

Once customer's order is placed with VersaTube Building Systems, it will be shipped within an average of four to eight weeks. It is made clear with all customers that this is an “average” and there is no way for Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. or Carports.com to guarantee a shipment date for VersaTube Building Systems special order items. This is normal for this industry. When ordering through Carports.com, you can rest assured that you will get your order as soon as possible.

When you receive your shipment, you are responsible for checking the packaging. If there are any damages, it is the customer's responsibility to contact Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. immediately and mark damaged on the Bill of Laden. Any damages due to shipment will be taken care of immediately with courteous and prompt attention.

Once customer's order is placed with a manufacturer for an Installed-Unit, it will be delivered and installed within an average of three to eight weeks. It is made clear with all customers that this is an “average” and there is no way for Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. or Carports.com to guarantee a delivery or installation date for the Installed-Unit products because it varies depending on the installation crew, transportation availability, weather, schedules, readily available inventory, and other possible unforeseen reasons. This is normal for this industry. When ordering through Carports.com, you can rest assured that you will get your order as soon as possible.

Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com are not responsible for the installation nor delivery for Installed-Unit orders.  Customers who place an order with Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com put a 10% down payment on the order, which is not refundable for any reason. Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com encourages all customers to research products, local area building codes, permitting and other possibilities before placing their order to prevent unforeseen issues.  It is the responsibility of the customer to work with the Installed-Unit manufacturer to successfully schedule a delivery date according to the customers and the manufacturer's schedules.  The customer is also responsible for resolving any issues that may arise directly with the Installed-Unit manufacturer and not hold Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com responsible for any manufacturers guarantees, warranties, installation issues, delivery times, and any other unforeseen problem(s) that could arise throughout the process.  Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com will work in good faith with the customer and the Installed-Unit manufacturer to assist in resolving issues if any develop as long as both parties are giving reasonable and conscious effort to resolve the issue.  Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com take great pride in selling the Installed-Units but are only hold responsibilities of a "dealer" for these manufacturers.  As a dealer, Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com resolves the right to hold down payment(s) made to Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com to be non-refundable.  In the event the customer wishes to cancel the order placed with the Installed-Unit manufacturer., the 10% down payment will not be refunded to the customer unless otherwise agreed by Etomic Steel Structures, Inc. and Carports.com senior management.

EtomicSteel™ is owned and operated by Etomic Steel Structures, Inc., Carports.com's parent company.  EtomicSteel™ orders are all special orders but may be canceled within 24 hours of the order date.  Customers will be responsible for a eight percent cancellation fee upon canceling if the billing credit card has already been charged.  Because each order for EtomicSteel™ is special order, there are are no refunds if the order is canceled by the customer.

Shipping and Claims Policy & Terms and Conditions

If your order at Carports.com or affiliated companies requires shipping through a third party shipping company, we will assist you through the process.  The following terms and conditions apply to all orders that are shipped via Carports.com's shipping department.

Upon placing your order, you will be responsible for paying for an estimated freight quote based on the current rates and fuel surcharges.  You will receive a notification via email when your order has been shipped from the warehouse facility.  It is not up to Carports.com when your order is shipped and Carports.com is not responsible for the time frame it takes to have your order ready to ship from the date you place your order, nor from the time it takes to get your shipment from the date it ships from the warehouse.

At the time you receive your shipment, Carports.com recommends for all customers to inspect all pieces of the shipment inside and out to check for possible damages and missing parts.  If damages are suspected, write on the bill of laden (shipping document) that the trucking company provides you to sign to accept delivery that the shipment has possible damages or missing parts.  In order to have a successful insurance claim so that we can replace your parts without any delays, this is required.  There are no exceptions.  There is no way for us to guarantee replacement of damaged or missing parts if the shipping documents are not marked as damaged/missing at the time of delivery while the trucking company is still present.  At the time you mark damaged/missing parts on the bill of laden, you need to contact our customer service department at (336)-372-9180, Extension 208 to notify Carports.com of the claim.  You will be asked to make a full inventory of the parts you received and fax them to (404)-601-0233.  We will review your documents, contact the appropriate parties and notify you of the next steps.

If properly documented at the time the shipment is received, replacement(s) typically are made top priority over all other orders.  Customer service for our customers is our top priority at all times!
